Palmer has a solution for a wide range of budgets.
We not only offer many styles with various price ranges, but within a given style there is an opportunity
to re-configure a leg system with prices to fit most any budget.
For example, the Tapered Foot style with 1-1/2” diameter tubing (LS2T), in a polished chrome or polished nickel finish retails for $1,916 at the standard size.
• If we exclude the “rear risers,” which are the short vertical supports that are attached to the horizontal crossbars that extend from the leg to the wall, the retail price drops to $1,606 (LS2T/C)
• Going further, we can also consider the 1” diameter version of this same Tapered Foot style which lowers the retail price to $1,327 (LS21T)
• If we eliminate the rear risers, the retail price further decreases to $1,132 (LS21T/C). Additionally, by specifying just (2) individual legs with NO horizontal crossbars and 1-1/2” diameter tubing, the retail price becomes $916 (T-150)
• Finally, we can provide (2) individual legs with 1” diameter tubing, with a retail price of $694 (T-100)
So we have a wide price range from $1,916 to $694, all WITHIN the Tapered Foot style.
Assumptions: Tapered Foot style / Standard size / Polished Chrome or Polished Nickel:
|LS2T:||1-1/2” diameter tubing, including rear risers . . . . .||$1,916|
|LS2T/C:||1-1/2” diameter tubing, excluding rear risers . . . .||$1,606|
|LS21T:||1” diameter tubing, including rear risers . . . . . . . .||$1,327|
|LS21T/C:||1” diameter tubing, excluding rear risers . . . . . . . .||$1,132|
|(2) T-150:||Individual legs, 1-1/2” diameter tubing . . . . . . . . .||$916|
|(2) T-100:||Individual legs, 1” diameter tubing . . . . . . . . . . . .||$694|
These pricing flexibilities can be applied to many Palmer styles to meet your customer’s needs.

You may have noticed in some of the Palmer literature that many our models can be “cut down in the field”.
This means that either the horizontal connecting tubes and/or the vertical legs can be modified in the field to change the unit dimensions. This is advantageous because this feature allows for field-sizing Palmer units exactly as required for the particular application as well as modifying units if site conditions change.
Palmer leg systems are fabricated with solid brass tubing. Brass is a non-ferrous metal that is widely used in the plumbing industry for a variety of reasons including malleability, corrosion resistance, and surface finish. It is also a soft metal, which allows for easy cutting using basic equipment. Our brass tubing can be cut with a standard tubing cutter, a chop-saw with a carbide-tipped blade, or even a hack saw.
Care should be taken with any of these methods to protect both the finish of the tubing being cut and the person doing the cutting - please follow all applicable safety precautions when cutting brass tubing with power equipment.
Whatever method is employed, the cuts should be as square and as clean as possible.
When the leg systems are assembled, the cut ends are hidden inside of the fittings.
The ability for field-modification applies to most, but not all Palmer leg systems. As a general rule, any system that uses straight tubing and socket-type fittings can be cut in the field. Some notable exceptions are:
The most common choice for a glass shelf is our ½” thick, clear, tempered glass with flat-polished edges. However we also offer a low-iron Optiwhite glass which minimizes the natural appearance of the green tone on the edges of the standard clear glass. Finally, for a frosted appearance we offer an acid washed glass. The acid washed glass will have a sandblasted feel on one side and glossy smooth on the other.
